The Band

Drifting West is a quartet (sometimes quintet!) from Ft. Collins, CO. All the members of the band moved from somewhere or another back east. All those influences were put in a band. Drifting West called the sound that came out “Mountain Rock”.What is Mountain Rock? Drifting West’s sound can be found somewhere between the Celtic tradition of Appalachian Bluegrass & the blues of Southern Rock, between the jam oriented feel of New England & the structured voice of Seattle, between the Newgrass of the Front Range & the twang of cornfield Country.What is Mountain Rock?
